Work Schedule: Mon-Fri(normal business hours) Summary: - We are seeking a thoughtful and driven UX specialist to join our team and help shape the future of our digital solutions.
- This role blends experience strategy, hands-on user research, and workflow analysis, with practical design execution.
- You'll work closely with product owners, scientists, IT, and other cross-functional partners to identify requirements and translate user and business needs into intuitive, scalable designs.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and lead user research activities, including user interviews, stakeholder interviews, workflow walk-throughs, and usability testing
- Synthesize research findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations, and present them to cross-functional stakeholders
- Map complex workflows and translate user needs into clear requirements, concepts, and UX strategies
- Contribute to interaction design and UI design efforts, creating low- to high-fidelity designs in Figma as appropriate for the project stage
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Data, and Product partners to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with technical constraints
- Support projects end-to-end, often acting as the sole UX resource on individual initiatives
Qualifications - Experience in UX research, UX design, service design, or a related field
- Strong workflow mapping, systems thinking, and requirements-gathering skills
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, data/analytics platforms, or modeling/automation workflows is highly desirable.
- Experience with user research methods to iterate and validate designs.
- Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional team members and stakeholders; Ability to work independently and manage ambiguous problem spaces
- Proficiency with Figma
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, interaction design, shipped work simplifying domain complexity into intuitive user experiences or similar.
Education: - Required bachelor's degree in any related field.
The hourly rate for this position is between $70-$74 per hour.
