As a Student Nurse Extern with HCA Healthcare at HCA Midwest hospitals, you will gain hands-on clinical experience while working alongside experienced nurses and interdisciplinary care teams in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. In this internship-style role, you will support direct patient care under RN supervision by assisting with activities of daily living, obtaining vital signs, helping with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and accurately documenting care in the electronic health record according to hospital policy.
