About the Role Our firm is partnering with a major national retailer known for its expansive private-label portfolio and high-volume seasonal programs. We are seeking a Seasonal Print Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of seasonal print initiatives across food storage and disposable tabletop product categories. This role is ideal for someone with deep hands-on print and packaging production experience who can independently manage technical vendor discussions, ensure artwork accuracy across multiple SKUs, and deliver high-quality results on time.
Job Description This role manages the full lifecycle of seasonal print and packaging execution across food storage and disposable tabletop categories. The ideal candidate brings hands-on print and packaging production experience, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to independently lead technical discussions to ensure accurate, high-quality artwork execution across multiple SKUs and seasonal programs.
Key Responsibilities - Apply approved artwork across multiple SKUs and dielines, including plates, bowls, cups, tissue boxes, and food storage products
- Adjust print scale, orientation, and layout based on product form and substrate
- Manage Pantone accuracy and color translation across various materials
- Prepare and deliver production-ready files to vendors
- Review and approve physical strike-offs and drive revisions as needed
- Lead technical discussions with vendors regarding dieline fit, print feasibility, and color accuracy
- Resolve production issues independently and escalate when necessary
- Ensure all final outputs align with design intent and quality standards
- Attend cross-functional team meetings to capture seasonal roadmaps and timelines
- Define SKU-level print needs for each seasonal program
- Manage overlapping seasonal timelines to ensure on-time delivery
- Proactively partner with design teams to request and secure required artwork
Qualifications Required - 5+ years of experience in print production, packaging, or retail product development
- Demonstrated experience applying artwork to packaging dielines
- Strong understanding of print scale, substrate behavior, and color management
- Experience reviewing physical samples and approving print quality
- Proven ability to independently manage technical vendor discussions
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple overlapping seasonal programs
Preferred - Experience working within retail private-label or seasonal program environments
- Background in food storage, paper goods, or disposable tabletop product categories
