Primary Objectives of Position:

Transport merchandise to customer locations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive delivery experience for all clients.
Contribute to the cooperative's success by adhering to all company policies, safety regulations (federal, state, and cooperative), and best practices.

Responsibilities of the Position:

Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up materials to and from customer locations.
Ensure all required documentation (e.g., sales tickets, delivery receipts) is accurately completed before and after each delivery.
Collect payment from customers as needed.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Ensure the safe and proper loading and unloading of merchandise.
Comply with all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations (e.g., DOT regulations).
Submit accurate and timely daily trip reports to supervisors.
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members.
Assist with all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

18 years of age or older
Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred, or ability to obtain a farm service license.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
