Southern Health Partners Inc, a leading provider of healthcare services to correctional facilities across the US, is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for Correctional Healthcare to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing services within a correctional facility, ensuring that high-quality medical, dental, and psychiatric care is delivered safely, ethically, and in full compliance with state regulations and facility policies. You will supervise and support a team of nurses and ancillary staff, coordinate daily clinical operations, and serve as a key liaison between facility administration, providers, and Southern Health Partners leadership. Responsibilities include assessing inmate health needs, triaging and prioritizing care, overseeing medication administration and chronic disease management, reviewing clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, and ensuring adherence to infection control, safety, and security protocols specific to the correctional setting. The RN Clinical Supervisor will participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching of nursing staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and professional growth. You will help develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives, monitor regulatory and accreditation standards, and assist with audits, incident reviews, and corrective action plans. This position requires strong clinical judgment, confident decision-making in an often fast-paced and unpredictable environment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with correctional officers, mental health providers, and external healthcare partners. You will provide direct patient care as needed, including assessments, wound care, emergency response, and patient education, while modeling best practices and ensuring that care is delivered with dignity and respect to an underserved population.
