Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description:

Royal Palm Beach Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish , possess strong computer skills , and be proficient in phlebotomy . Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in patient care and medical procedures
• Perform phlebotomy , administer injections, and conduct laboratory specimen collection
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Conduct patient intake, including vitals, medical history, and documentation
• Provide translation services for Spanish-speaking patients
• Assist with administrative duties, scheduling, insurance verification, and medical billing
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms
• Assist in minor medical procedures and wound care
• Handle prescription refills and coordinate with pharmacies

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
• Phlebotomy skills (Required)
• Proficiency in EMR systems (Required)
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
• Experience with EKGs, and assisting in medical procedures is a plus
• 2 years Previous experience in a medical office setting
• Ability to travel between multiple office locations as needed
• Reliable transportation required
• Willingness and flexibility to split time between offices
