A Japanese company is seeking a Japanese-English Bilingual Office Staff member for its Los Angeles office.

As the company continues to expand its North American operations, this position will help strengthen the local back-office function. The role will primarily focus on general administration and employee-related administrative support while working closely with restaurant staff, local management, and the headquarters team in Japan.

Position Overview

Based in the Los Angeles office, you will be responsible for a wide range of back-office duties, with a primary focus on general administration and employee-related support. As the business continues to grow, the company is looking for someone who can contribute to building and improving its back-office structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle general office administration
• Support employee-related administrative and HR tasks
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures
• Maintain employee information and personnel records
• Prepare and manage contracts, documents, and internal materials
• Manage and order office supplies
• Respond to phone calls and emails
• Communicate and coordinate with headquarters in Japan
• Respond to inquiries from restaurant staff
• Support day-to-day office operations and other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Previous experience in general administration, HR, personnel administration, office support, or a similar role
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Japanese-English bilingual proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and responsibly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively with both local teams and colleagues in Japan

Work Schedule

• 5 days per week
• 40 hours per week

Compensation

$50,000 per year

Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
