Job Description

I. Position: High School A-Level Economics Teacher

1. Location: Baoan District, Shenzhen

2. Working time: Monday to Friday, no mandatory after-school office hours

3. Up to 24 teaching periods per week (40 minutes per period)

4. Class size: 25-30 students
II. Job Description

1. Proven ability and experience in teaching British curriculum IGCSE and A-Level Economics in strict alignment with official subject specifications.

2. Assign appropriate homework and complete timely grading and feedback.

3. Conduct effective classroom management and maintain accurate records of student academic performance.

4. Attend parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings and school promotional events as required.

5. Participate in and organize extracurricular activities (e.g., economics competitions, business clubs).

6. Provide academic reference letters and student counseling support as requested.
III. Minimum Position Requirements

1. No gender limit, aged 25-55; Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business or related field is preferred.

2. Certified teacher with at least 1 year of high school Economics teaching experience in China.

3. Prior teaching experience in A-Level/SAT/AP/IB Economics or related business subjects is strongly preferred.
IV. Salary and Benefits

1. Basic salary: 23,000 - 28,000 RMB/month (pre-tax, 12 months, based on teaching experience and qualifications)

2. Housing Allowance: 5,000 RMB/month (paid with basic salary)

3. Free Chinese meals on working days

4. Air ticket allowance: up to 8,000 RMB per year

5. Contract Renewal Bonus: 1 month’s salary upon successful renewal of a 2-year contract

6. Paid leave: Summer/winter holidays per school calendar, 1 week Christmas leave, and all Chinese national holidays

7. Social insurance and accident insurance coverage
