Role Summary: NTT Data is currently seeking a Data Analyst to work on one of our key Client Initiative. The goal of this project is to Work with the Data Management team, business and technical SMEs to define and document the following for Plan, and Participant data domains (and associated elements) within the Institutional business and applications. This project is high profile with a high amount of leadership and future growth opportunity.Responsibilities:Work with the Data Management team, business and technical SMEs to define and document the following for Plan, and Participant data domains (and associated elements) within the Institutional business and applications : • business requirements • data element definitions and metadata • how the data displays • system of record • transactions that use the data element • processes that own/use the data element • any issues with the domain of valid values as it concerns processing of a transaction • data lineage • data element type and valid values (domain range) for the element. • needed controls • support the approval tollgates for the data definitions, metadata, and controls. • Identify necessary data remediation as part of the data analysis process o Coordinate with business to remediate the data o Provide status and metrics on remediations Basic Qualifications (Required): • Relevant professional experience and experience working in Financial Services • Previous Technical Analyst or Business Analyst experience • Proven ability to profile data • Efficient in analyzing large Data Sets • Experience/proficiency with SQL queries • Experience/proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access (queries and reporting) • Ability to work independently and make decisions to drive assigned tasks to closure • Ability to work in an environment with many unknown factors • Ability to interview SMEs and translate conversation into workflows, requirements, etc. • Ability to explain data issues with the business and drive towards resolution of those issues Preferred Qualifications (Desired): • Excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills • Previous experience preferably within the Institutional Financial Services (IFS) or IT Organization • Understanding of the various business lines that are supported in the Institutional business and beyond – including client contact centers, and/or institutional retirement recordkeeping. • Experience with the following systems and functions preferred: OMNI / OMNI Script • Systems and databases used within client (i.e., MVAS, PRISM)Posting Date:Department: -
