Adjunct Faculty – School of Humanities and Social Sciences (Anthropology and Sociology) Starting rate: $928.00 per credit. About Hudson County Community College “Hudson is Home” is about our people. Position Description The role involves teaching courses in Anthropology and Sociology within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Position Requirements Master’s degree in the discipline or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution (required). Preferred: college level teaching experience. Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and to effectively and respectfully function and communicate within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds. Tuition Waivers for Adjunct Faculty Adjunct Faculty employed for nine (fall/spring) semesters or more may be granted 100% tuition waiver for any credit course, as well as selected continuing education courses. Adjunct faculty employed for four to eight semesters may be granted 50% tuition reduction.
