ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough title searches on real property to identify ownership, liens, encumbrances, and other title defects.
Analyze title documents, including deeds, mortgages, judgments, and tax records.
Prepare clear and concise title reports summarizing findings and identifying potential risks.
Work closely with title insurance underwriters, real estate attorneys, and clients to resolve title issues.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all title examination activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and industry standards.
RequirementsExperience conducting title searches and examinations.
Proficiency in title abstracting and title insurance principles.
Familiarity with county and municipal land record systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
