Job Title: Technical Writer – AV Collaboration Technology

Work Mode: Onsite (Monday–Wednesday), Remote (Thursday–Friday)

Duration : 9 Months

Location: Salisbury, NC

Primary Purpose

The Technical Writer for AV Collaboration Technology will work closely with the EUS Digital Media Manager to create clear and concise documentation for products and services. This includes user manuals, guides, SOPs, and governance policies to ensure users can effectively utilize Microsoft Teams Rooms and Large Room Audio/Video technology.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Digital Media Manager to create end-user documentation for Microsoft Teams Rooms and other Audio/Video systems deployed .
  • Collaborate with Lead Digital Media Engineers to convert technical documentation into:
  • User-friendly documentation for non-technical audiences
  • Formal technical design and architecture documentation for departmental reference
  • Develop governance structures for reviewing next-generation Microsoft Teams Room technology.
  • Improve, rewrite, and maintain existing ServiceNow Knowledge Base articles.
  • Add a creative, engaging touch to end-user documentation to enhance usability and clarity.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in technology or Audio/Video environments.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical business users.
  • Experience creating technical guides and procedures related to Microsoft Teams Room installation or Audio/Video integration standards.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Audio/Video technology (preferred but not required).
  • Experience creating and maintaining SharePoint sites.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with strong project management and deadline management abilities.
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow (Knowledge Base article creation).
