The Staff Accountant applies core accounting principles to support the accurate recording of financial information for UHP. This position plays a key role in daily processes, account reconciliations, and support within the accounting team. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recording of daily financial transactions Process Accounts Payable including invoice review and preparation for payment Manage customer receivables including weekly collection processes Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation Assist with general ledger entries and financials reporting Respond to inquiries from vendors, departments, and the public in a professional manner Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related area. Experience in accounting or billing office, student financials a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups). Familiarity with Hubspot and Quickbooks a plus KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work successfully in a remote working environment Effective written and verbal communication skills.
