Senior Tax Accountant

Location/Work Arrangement: Parsippany, NJ Hybrid schedule, including on-site client work, 3 days in office, and 2 days working from home.

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to support individual and business tax engagements. This role includes direct client interaction, hands-on tax preparation and review work, and exposure to multi-state and international tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support individual and business tax engagements.
• Work directly with clients on tax-related matters.
• Support multi-state and international client tax work.
• Assist with tax planning, compliance, and related accounting tasks.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in all assigned work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting.
• 4–7 years of tax experience.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a CPA firm.
• CPA license preferred, or actively pursuing certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
