Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for marketing support for our franchise partner network. This includes the development and deployment of marketing programs that generate local brand awareness and local lead generation for our 400+ offices across the United States, with the goal of increasing same-store sales. Responsibilities also include managing a team responsible for creating branded marketing materials, as well as franchise onboarding, training, and ongoing support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop fully integrated traditional and digital marketing strategies, including marketing plans, strategic briefs, and project plans.

  • Drive local brand awareness and lead generation programs to increase topline revenue and customer lifetime value at the franchise partner location level.

  • Manage marketing vendor partnerships to ensure maximum value and efficiency.

  • Meet regularly with franchise partner committees to gather the voice of the customer, providing leadership and direction in support of local brand and marketing initiatives.

  • Meet with department leaders to discuss needs and deliver solutions aligned with marketing department priorities.

  • Lead the development of local lead generation playbooks and oversee communication and training through live webinars or our training portal.

  • Manage off-site agencies in the development and execution of local marketing strategies. This includes establishing project scope and budgets, evaluating media mix and channel strategy, monitoring KPIs, and directing agencies to improve results.

  • Develop reports and analysis regarding the effectiveness of national brand awareness campaigns and local lead generation strategies.

  • Conduct research and analyze internal and external data to identify market opportunities and minimize the impact of competitive activity.

  • Develop ICP briefs based on research and insights.

  • Provide strategic oversight across websites, digital marketing, SEO, reputation management, social media, email, and other channels.

  • Manage the Marketing Support team to ensure SLAs tied to system support are met.

  • Ensure adherence to PMI brand standards by managing the Creative Services team and agency partners, and through the review of franchise partner–produced content.

  • Advocate for the brand vision, development, and marketplace positioning.

  • Positively contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.

  • Develop strong, collaborative cross-functional relationships with internal business unit leaders and department personnel.

  • Manage brand and state compliance questions, escalations, and requests.

  • Follow established processes when exceptions to policy or pricing are requested by franchisees.

Qualifications & Education

  • BA/BS in Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred), or equivalent education and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of brand and/or marketing management experience

  • Professional services, retail, or network marketing experience (franchising strongly preferred)

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, nimble organization undergoing transformative growth

  • Proven ability to convert strategies into operational project plans and tactical execution

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities aligned with key business needs

  • Ability to take initiative and resolve complex marketing challenges amid ambiguity

  • Performance-based leadership and management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Excellent creative, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
