Southern Health Partners Inc is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor – Correctional Healthcare to oversee and coordinate clinical nursing services within a correctional facility. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect patient care to an incarcerated population, ensuring the delivery of safe, ethical, and evidence-based medical, dental, and psychiatric services in compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and professional nursing standards. You will supervise and support a team of nurses and medical staff, manage daily clinical operations, oversee sick call and chronic care clinics, and assist with triage, intake screenings, medication administration, and emergency response. The RN Clinical Supervisor will monitor quality and safety initiatives, perform chart reviews and audits, support accreditation and regulatory readiness, and collaborate closely with correctional leadership, providers, and ancillary staff to enhance patient outcomes and facility safety. This position plays a key leadership role in staffing, scheduling, training, and mentoring clinical team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and compassionate care consistent with Southern Health Partners’ values. You will participate in performance evaluations, coaching, and ongoing staff education, ensuring that clinical competencies are maintained and best practices are followed in a secure environment. The RN Clinical Supervisor will help develop and implement nursing protocols, infection control procedures, and emergency preparedness plans suited to the correctional setting. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with strong clinical assessment skills, solid judgment in high-stress and emergent situations, and prior experience in correctional, acute, emergency, or community health settings. You are comfortable working within a secure facility, communicating with diverse patient populations, and partnering with custody staff while maintaining professional boundaries and respecting patient rights. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple demands are essential. In this role, you will document accurately in the electronic health record, ensure proper medication administration and inventory control, and assist with coordination of off-site specialty and hospital care when needed.
