Responsibilities: Support quality assurance activities by assisting with corrective actions on the manufacturing floor, analyzing root causes, and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented solutions. Review inspection reports and quality documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards. Communicate quality concerns, non-conformances, and process improvement recommendations to production teams and management. Conduct inspections and testing using quality measurement equipment, including optical comparators, tensile machines, and other precision tools. Perform mechanical pull testing and verify product integrity, hardness, and temper throughout the production process. Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with departmental procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Inspect non-conforming materials, evaluate returned customer products, and assist in determining corrective and preventive actions. Maintain calibration, cleanliness, and proper operation of measuring equipment and inspection tools. Promote a safe and organized work environment by following safety regulations, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards. Support troubleshooting, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives across the production floor. Assist with production support tasks during downtime, including tooling changes, sample cutting, scrap handling, and material loading activities. Provide guidance, training, and support to new employees and operators to ensure adherence to quality and operational standards. Qualifications: Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Knowledge of quality inspection processes and experience using measurement tools such as optical comparators, tensile machines, and precision gauges. Ability to identify product non-conformances, investigate root causes, and support corrective action implementation. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies and PPE requirements. Ability to train and mentor team members while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform inspections throughout the production environment, with occasional lifting as required.
