Job Title: Power Controls Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client is an innovative engineering organization focused on advancing electric motor and generator technologies through cutting-edge design and control methodologies. The team consists of scientists, engineers, and programmers working collaboratively to expand performance, efficiency, and operational flexibility in permanent magnet electric machines. Position Overview:
We are seeking a Power Controls Engineer with electrical motor programming experience and strong knowledge of power electronics, PCB design, and motor control systems. The ideal candidate will support development, testing, and optimization of high-power electronic and motor control solutions within an on-site engineering environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming

• Knowledge of 3-phase power systems, AC and DC motors, motor controllers, and power electronic control

• Experience with PCB design, simulation, and population

• Familiarity with MOSFETs, IGBTs, FPGAs, and I2C communication

• Experience building and testing high-power electronic systems

• Strong communication, collaboration, and detail orientation

Work Arrangement:
