In time you may become a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Ophthalmic Scribe Certified (OSC) and Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist (COMT). We encourage and support these certifications and provide assistance with the certification process. Additional monetary incentives are awarded upon attainment. The field of Ophthalmology offers diverse career paths such as clinical training, surgical roles, billing, corporate, and leadership roles as well.
