Job Description

Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Location: Raleigh, NC Schedule: Full-time, primarily onsite Monday–Friday, with occasional statewide travel and weekend support Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year KMRG, LLC (KMRG) is a federal services company that hires talented professionals to support Government agencies and the communities they serve. We are hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team and support the North Carolina Army National Guard (NCARNG) Psychological Readiness Program in Raleigh. In this role, you will provide clinical case management, care coordination, crisis-response support, and psychological-readiness services for Soldiers experiencing behavioral-health concerns that may affect their well-being, military readiness, retention, or deployability. You will work closely with Soldiers, commanders, medical professionals, military treatment facilities, civilian providers, and community organizations to coordinate appropriate care and promote continuity throughout the treatment and recovery process. RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Case Management Provide clinical case-management services for Soldiers enrolled in the Psychological Readiness Program Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and identify behavioral-health needs Develop individualized case-management plans Monitor progress toward treatment, recovery, retention, and readiness goals Assess behavioral-health risks and functional impacts on military readiness Identify barriers to care and facilitate appropriate interventions, referrals, and resource connections Track treatment, profile, evaluation, and readiness compliance Document case-management actions and report significant concerns through appropriate channels Support continuity of care throughout treatment and recovery Care Coordination & Referral Management Coordinate care across military, civilian, community, and multidisciplinary partners Connect Soldiers with military, Department of Veterans Affairs, civilian, and community resources Facilitate timely access to appropriate behavioral-health services Monitor referral completion and treatment engagement Promote continuity of care between providers, programs, and resources Assist Soldiers in navigating military, civilian, community, and Department of Veterans Affairs behavioral-health resources Deliver referral-management and behavioral-health resource-coordination support Crisis Intervention & High-Risk Case Management Conduct risk screenings within the authorized scope of practice Assist with responses to behavioral-health crises Develop safety plans and coordinate crisis-intervention and emergency behavioral-health services Address suicidal or homicidal ideation, substance misuse, domestic violence, and other high-risk concerns Ensure appropriate notification, referral, follow-up, and documentation Monitor high-risk cases until stabilization or transfer to an appropriate level of care Participate in multidisciplinary reviews of complex and high-risk cases Military Readiness Support Support psychological- and medical-readiness activities Monitor behavioral-health concerns that may affect military readiness, retention, deployability, or duty performance Coordinate medical-retention reviews Track behavioral-health profiles and readiness requirements Contribute to deployment-related behavioral-health activities Assist with medical-retention determination actions Manage Medical Evaluation Board case coordination Facilitate Integrated Disability Evaluation System case coordination Provide line-of-duty-related behavioral-health case management Deliver command consultation and case consultation through appropriate channels Support mobilization and demobilization activities Attend required health assessments, readiness processing, mobilizations, and medical-readiness events Clinical Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and case records Update required case-management tracking systems Enter information into authorized medical-readiness and case-management systems Verify completion of required data entry and documentation after services are provided Prepare case summaries, readiness updates, reports, and program metrics Ensure records support continuity of care, readiness determinations, quality-assurance activities, and program-reporting requirements Protect health information, personally identifiable information, and sensitive case records Comply with federal and state laws, HIPAA, the Privacy Act, Army regulations, NCARNG policies, and program procedures Correct identified documentation deficiencies within established timelines Participate in quality-assurance and program-improvement activities Collaboration & Program Support Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews Attend staff meetings, training events, consultation processes, and quality-assurance activities Provide behavioral-health resource coordination and system-navigation support Communicate procedural information to authorized North Carolina Army National Guard medical personnel as needed Submit written updates regarding changes in applicable processes within required timeframes Maintain required professional liability insurance Sustain professional licensure, credentialing, privileging, certifications, and continuing education

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

Minimum of 3 years of clinical mental-health experience Experience conducting behavioral-health assessments and providing clinical case management Experience developing care plans and monitoring treatment, risk, and readiness concerns Experience coordinating referrals and care across providers, leadership, and community resources Knowledge of crisis intervention, safety planning, emergency referrals, and high-risk case management Experience maintaining accurate clinical documentation and confidential records Ability to prepare case summaries, reports, readiness updates, and program metrics Strong organization, communication, judgment, and deadline-management skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn Government medical-readiness and case-management systems

EDUCATION

Graduate of a nationally accredited or certified program in behavioral health, mental-health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related behavioral-health discipline Current, valid, and unrestricted North Carolina license permitting independent clinical practice Must maintain all continuing-education requirements necessary to sustain licensure and credentialing Acceptable professional disciplines may include: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Licensed Psychologist Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Comparable behavioral-health discipline approved by the Government

WORK HOURS

Full-time, 40 hours per week Normal core hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday Occasional weekend support may be required for medical-readiness events Special events may begin as early as 6:00 AM or continue as late as 8:00 PM Work schedule may be adjusted before or after weekend events to maintain a 40-hour workweek
