Japanese Interpreter

Our organization is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Interpreter to support an Order Management team during a key shipping and receiving go-live initiative. This individual will serve as a communication bridge between Japanese and English-speaking team members, helping ensure clear and accurate communication during meetings, training sessions, and daily operational discussions. This is an opportunity for a professional who is fluent in both Japanese and English and interested in gaining experience with a global supply chain and order management organization.

Location: Broomfield, Colorado (Remote) through October

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese interpretation during virtual meetings.
• Support communication between U.S. and Japan-based teams.
• Assist the Order Management team during shipping, receiving, and operational go-live activities.
• Help clarify questions, action items, and operational updates between stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings, training sessions, status updates, and working sessions.
• Ensure messages are communicated accurately and professionally across languages.
• Support cross-functional collaboration among operations, order management, logistics, and supply chain teams.

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).
• Verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate information clearly between languages.
• Comfortable participating in fast-paced virtual meetings.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Previous interpretation, customer service, administrative, logistics, supply chain, or business experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience living, studying, or working in Japan.
• Exposure to supply chain, logistics, shipping, receiving, or order management processes.
• Experience supporting cross-cultural teams in a business environment.
