At Holiday Inn Club Vacations, we believe in strengthening families. And we look for people who exhibit the courage, caring and creativity to help us become the most loved brand in family travel. We’re committed to growing our people, memberships, resorts and guest love. That’s why we need individuals who are passionate in life and bring those qualities to work every day. Do you instill confidence, trust and respect in those around you? Do you encourage success and build relationships? If so, we’re looking for you.

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform as part of a design team. This position takes direction from the Director of Design and works independently and collaboratively to complete design projects within the Construction, Design & Development Team. Projects will consist of conceptual design through installation including, but not limited to: selection of interior finishes and furnishings, documenting specifications, obtaining quotes, and the development of technical design including floor plans, elevations, finish plans, electrical plans, and tagged furnishing plans. You will develop and maintain FF&E budgets; and work with purchasing to ensure products are delivered to meet project schedules – including reselections if necessary. Assemble presentation boards and presentation materials and concepts as needed. The accomplishment of these duties will be performed in conjunction with a team concept and environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

  • Execute project work and adjust priorities as needed to meet changing requirements in a fast-paced environment, both independently and with supervision.

  • Develop and implement creative design concepts with a focus on destination design and diverse themes tailored to various resort locations and project needs.

  • Support the design team in conceptual programming, presentation development, finish and material selection/specifications, and furniture selection/specification.

  • Contribute to proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Develop and maintain FF&E budgets; assemble presentation boards and materials; and build relationships with manufacturers’ representatives.

  • Prepare construction documents, including work in Revit and AutoCAD, and FF&E specification writing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year Interior Design program (highly preferred).

  • 2+ years of hospitality design experience, preferably in Vacation Ownership projects.

  • Strong knowledge of FF&E resources and specification standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and routine database activity.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Clear communication skills and a willingness to apply experience effectively.

  • 3–6 years of experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and specification writing.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in team environments to achieve goals.

  • Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural documents, including blueprints.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with vendors and internal teams.

  • Excellent graphic communication skills, with the ability to convey strategic concepts analytically and visually.

  • Willingness to carry out any reasonable request from management within the scope of the role.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Office-based Monday through Thursday at 9271 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32819

  • Remote work on Fridays
