We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for ensuring the property is well-maintained, safe, and fully operational for guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities remain in good working condition
• Maintain the hotel’s exterior, including grounds, parking areas, and signage
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed
• Assist with room inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Coordinate with outside vendors when necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, etc.) are a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
