Eagle Fire - Raleigh, NC, United States Job Description The Field Technician (Inspector) is responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting fixed fire protection systems and their components to ensure proper functionality and properly documenting any deficiencies. He or she must provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities Completes all services following manufacturer\'s instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies and procedures. Schedules inspections with customers as required. Provides documentation of inspections for Eagle Fire records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity required Communicates discrepancies, necessary system repairs, and other important issues to Eagle Fire and the customer Completes continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for the position Works safely using good judgment and following all Eagle Fire safety policies and work procedures and uses authority to stop an unsafe act Performs other related duties as required Experience & Qualifications 4+ years of industry experience Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications Fire Sprinkler Service/Inspection experience Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications NICET certification Able to speak, read, and write English fluently Has practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards Excellent customer service skills Self-starter with the ability to work alone Valid driver\'s license and acceptable driving record for last 5 years Able to stand for long periods of time and to lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull Able to travel and stay out of town as needed Able to operate and efficiently use measuring instruments and gauges and assorted industry-related devices Able to work in extremely cold and extremely hot temperatures Able to work while exposed to loud sounds and noise levels Benefits & Perks Company Uniforms with dry cleaning options Boot Reimbursement every year NICET Test reimbursement PTO 10 Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Long-Term Disability Insurance Short-Term Disability Insurance Direct Deposit Weekly Pay 401(k) with matching Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts Relocation Assistance Compliance In compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, we maintain a drug-free workplace and operate a Drug-Free Workplace program.
