We are seeking experienced or entry level motivated and detail-oriented Cable Technician/Installer to join our dynamic team. We will train the right people. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable and telecommunication systems in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure reliable network connectivity and optimal service delivery, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Duties

• Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables, Ethernet wiring, telephony systems, and low voltage cabling to ensure high-quality signal transmission.
• Perform fiber splicing with precision to connect fiber optic lines efficiently and securely.
• Use hand tools and mechanical skills to run cables through walls, ceilings, or underground pathways while adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct network installation projects in various environments, ensuring all cabling meets industry specifications and safety codes.
• Diagnose electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters and apply electrical experience to resolve complex problems quickly.
• Provide field service support by troubleshooting on-site issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Skills

• Fiber splicing techniques and telecommunication infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with telephony systems and low voltage wiring installations.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively for cabling and equipment setup.
• Prior service technician experience in field service environments is highly desirable.
• Understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring standards and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
