PCGH, Inc. ( formerly Person County Group Homes ) supports adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. Since 1975 we’ve focused on person-centered care, community inclusion, and helping people live with more independence.

We’re hiring full-time direct care staff with set-schedules and several as-needed direct care staff too. These are hands-on roles where your work matters every single day. Here at PCGH, you will find paid training, regular coaching, and clear paths to promotion.

Open Positions

Partial Live-in (7-on / 7-off) Staff DSP — 2 openings

• Pay: Starting at $15.50/hr (base plus differentials) - higher depending on placement and experience
• Schedule Summary: 7-on/7-off: Work seven days in a row, then seven days off. During the on-block you stay in agency-provided furnished housing and meals are provided. Shifts are typically 4-6 hours and land between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with scheduled overnight rest.

As-Needed / "On-Call" Direct Support Professional DSP — 3 openings

• Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on experience, program assignment, and shift
• Provides direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or traumatic brain injury.
• Helps cover open shifts across PCGH programs, including residential homes and other service areas as needed.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to work different shifts, homes, and support needs based on agency coverage needs.
• Ideal for someone who wants flexible hours while still doing meaningful, mission-driven work.

Full Time Day Program DSP — 2 openings

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - THIS MAY VARY SLIGHTLY
• Provides direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or traumatic brain injury in a structured day program setting.
• Great fit for someone who wants steady daytime hours and a role centered on helping people build confidence, routine, and independence.

What You’ll do...

• Give hands-on support with daily living skills and individual goals
• Help with personal care, medication checks, and health needs as required
• Watch for safety concerns and respond to incidents per crisis plans
• Keep clear, accurate notes and follow individualized support plans
• Create a steady, home-like environment that helps people thrive

Who We are Seeking...

• High school diploma or GED required
• Caregiving experience helpful, but not required - we train great people
