Are you an experienced Lead Installation Technician looking for a company that values your skills and leadership? A Texas-based, family-run cabling and telecommunications company is expanding and looking for a motivated technician to lead their installation team!

With over 30 years of combined experience, this team offers a great environment to grow your expertise while working on exciting commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 3-5 cable installers, ensuring smooth operations and clear daily objectives based on commercial blueprints.
• Install and maintain video surveillance systems, audio/visual setups, and structured cabling (Cat 5, Cat 6, and fiber optic) at commercial job sites.
• Work with ShoreTel and Avaya systems, including IP Office, Partner Edition, and Server Edition, handling programming, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures, identifying effective solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering timely and professional service.
• Conduct site surveys for complex facilities and attend required training and meetings.
  

Requirements:

• Must have knowledge in pathway systems, fire stop systems, various electronic components, cable tray systems and structured cabling that includes: twisted pair, coax, stranded, and solid conductor low voltage.
• Must have prior experience and knowledge with PDK Cloud Based Access Control .
• Must have experience pulling Fiber Optic cable.
• Must have previous supervisor experience for commercial cable install projects.
• Experience working with a hospital setting highly desired.
• Dustbuggy experience required .
• Audio/Visual, Security data cabling installation experience.
• Must have blueprint reading experience .
• Must have experience with Commercial Projects, NOT only residential.
• Must have experience pulling and terminating Cat 5, Cat 6.
• Must pass background check and drug screen (No felonies in last 7 years).

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• AM Shift: 7:30AM – 4:30PM (9AM start time on Mondays only)
• PM Shift: 5PM – 1:30AM

Pay Rate:

• $20-22/Hour
• Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
