Job Description

Join Teledyne and make an impact in financial operations! We're looking for a Cost Accountant to support manufacturing cost analysis and ensure accurate reporting. If you have strong analytical skills and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile ledger accounts, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and close production jobs, verifying parts and labor reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances; prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with operations to improve profitability and cost control.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 24 years of accounting or finance experience (required)
• Strong analytical, judgment, and organizational skills (required)
• Excellent computer skills and ability to multi-task (required)
• Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)
• Experience with Epicor ERP or similar systems (advantage)
• Background in a production-driven environment (advantage)
