You’ll lead all accounting activities, maintain internal controls, and ensure accurate job costing and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include: Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, job cost accounting, and payroll Prepare financial reports and manage work-in-progress (WIP) and percentage-of-completion reporting Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial requirements Serve as the primary contact for external CPAs, banks, and bonding agents Support project managers and leadership with financial insights to guide decision-making Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and profit improvement Lead and develop the internal accounting team Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Active CPA license preferred 6–10 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management, with prior controllership and/or supervisory experience Familiarity with construction accounting, including job costing and WIP reporting Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards Experience working with leadership teams and external financial partners Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead and mentor accounting staff Third Generation Electric, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
