Position Overview:
BDI Marine Contractors is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant to support our growing team. This role is essential in keeping daily operations organized, assisting with project documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between the office and field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation and organization of bid packages and proposals
  • Maintain project files, contracts, and documentation
  • Enter and track invoices, purchase orders, and job costs
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field staff
  • Manage emails, phone calls, and general office correspondence
  • Support scheduling of meetings, jobs, and subcontractors
  • Assist with compliance documents, permits, and insurance tracking
  • Utilize construction software (experience with DemandStar is a plus)

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of administrative experience (construction industry preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience with construction bidding platforms (DemandStar, etc.) is a plus
