Job Description
CNA – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical
Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, NIGHT shift opening (7pm-7:30am,
varied days, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.
We are an accredited comprehensive stroke center and epilepsy unit. This
specialized unit cares for post-operative neurosurgery and EMU patients.
Patients on this unit may have received a hyperacute intervention such as
endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) or thrombolysis. Stroke patients generally stay
in the hospital for approximately five to seven days. During their stay, the
interprofessional stroke team works collaboratively to provide patient and
family-centered and evidence-based stroke care.
Extra Incentives:
- Evening shift differential – $ 2.25 p/hr
- Night shift differential – $4.00 p/hr

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing
comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under
the direct supervision of the RN.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualification:
* 1 year Experience as a CNA.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this
position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this
position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other
applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional
compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus
opportunities.
