Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid Schedule Available)
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join an accounting team in Tulsa. This is an excellent opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume invoice processing, and supporting month-end accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of domestic and international invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review and enter both PO and non-PO invoices.
• Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
• Prepare and process journal entries related to accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Review invoice coding and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accrual preparation and account reconciliations.
• Partner with internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth invoice processing and payment workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience processing high-volume invoices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments.
